I have to laugh because it's your typical "Saskwatch sighting" photograph. . .I promise!!! I didn't tamper with this photo! :0)

OK, OK, I'm fooling. . .It's a black bear that I see roaming in our neighborhood just about every other day or so. It's really hard to get a good photo of it. For one, you can't really get that close to it, and for another, they don't stop to pose for the camera, unfortunately.

 Or, would that be fortunately?


Regardless, it's a big one and I like to see it. I think "it" is a her because I saw a cub running around the other day in the same spot. Hard to be sure about these things. I'm not giving up on the clear photo.. .Hope to get a good shot of her before hibernation time. . .and NO, I'm not going to feed her. . .intentionally.

As a general rule of thumb, fruit should eaten alone. 1. Fruit digests very quickly, more quickly than other foods.2.
Fruit is so rich in nutrients and fiber, your body will be able to
utilize the power of fruit optimally when eaten alone and your
digestive system will be able to utilize the fiber best when not impeded
by other foods. Also, if impeded in the digestive tract, fruit will
ferment and that isn't so great for a tumtum. If you want fermented fruit, drink wine!  The
best time for fresh [organic-goes without saying] fruit is for
breakfast. Eat one piece of fruit (or one serving), then wait until you
are hungry again and have another piece of fruit and then wait until
you are hungry and have one more piece/serving. The goal should be
three.  And eat three different kinds of fruit if you can!  

When Sophie gets up in the morning, she and the little MaggiePie like to sit on the couch and cuddle before anything else happens in the day.
This is good. . .Yesterday Sophie asked me if we could sell Maggie because Maggie ate a butterfly. . .the Butterfly was "Sophie's friend, named Sara"
I guess she's over it today :0)
